RoadMaster VR attracts EU funding

Updated: Oct 10

UAB "Vertablox" with partners (Kaunas Technology University, UAB "Gluk Media", UAB "cargoGO Logistics") implements the European Union-funded project "RoadMaster VR" No. 08-004-K-0020. The product developed during the project will be dedicated to various stressful situations, adjusted drivers, identified analysis and management of reactions related to them.Purpose of the product:

  • To measure the driver's stress in the work environment, more specifically, while driving.

  • used video recording technology to identify situations that cause drivers stress.

  • Analyze the driver's biological signals (eg pulse, skin electrical conductivity, etc.) to determine his stress requirements in a specific situation.

  • Send video and bio data to the server using 5G technology.

  • Transform videos into virtual reality (VR) training.

  • Integrate artificial intelligence algorithms that can use accumulated data, create a personalized training plan for the driver and predict future stressful situations.

  • Deliver VR training to a stressed driver using 5G technology.

  • Can provide the driver with VR training to experience stressful situations and learn how to manage them, starting with basic stress management techniques and ending with specific situations.

  • Offer the driver real-time feedback and support through VR training to help them better understand and manage their stress levels.

  • Provide reports to the employer or driver about repeated stressful situations and progress in them, based on VR training data.

  • At the end of the VR training, the bus driver can effectively deal with stressful situations while driving.

  • use 5G technology, support fast and efficient data transfer between driver, VR system and server.

  • The goal of the project is to develop 5G technologies for various stressogenic situations, identification analysis of meeting drivers, and a tool for managing reactions related to them, allowing for the organization of VR training.

It is financed in accordance with the progress measure of the transport development program of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Lithuania, manager of the 2022-2030 development program no. 10-01-05-04-01 "Increasing the value created by the transportation system and the efficiency of infrastructure use" description of the activity "Creation, testing and development of digital technology solutions that require 5G connection" and the conditions and procedures established in the project administration and financing rules.

The project is financed with the funds of the Economic Revitalization and Resilience Enhancement Plan "New Generation Lithuania" (hereinafter - EGADP). The total value of the project is EUR 4,317,539.88.EGADP grant funds – EUR 2,721,994.41. The project executor's own funds – EUR 1,595,545.47.The project is implemented from 2024 January 1 until 2025 December 31.
